Partnership of the Centre with the European Institute for Cultural Routes

The provisions of the bilateral Programme of co-operation in the field of education, culture and research between the Government of Luxembourg and the Government of Romania (LINK catre text) have established the following objectives of cooperation:

The promotion of the cultural exchange through organising common events

A broad information to the general public, at national and Community level, of the heritage of the two countries

Support for partnership projects and initiatives

According to this programme, in March 2005 Framework Convention between the European Institute for Cultural Routes (French only) and the Consultancy Centre for European Cultural Programmes could be agreed. The partnership thus established assures:

a regular exchange of information

a wide dissemination of information through web sites and newsletters

creation of links between the web pages of the two organisations

identifying partnerships and development of common projects of regional, national and cross-border interest in the field of cultural routes and cultural tourism

initiation, organization and carry out of common projects, mainly those connected to the foreseen actions from the cultural corridors of South-East Europe

common response to the request for programmes from cultural operators

The two organisations will organise training sessions, conferences and meetings for general public in the specific field.

On 1 st July the European Institute for Cultural Routes invited the Centre to become member of the European Group for Economic Concern (GEIE) "Cultures Routes". Other members of the GEIE are: La Fundacion El Legado Andalusi, L'Associazione dei Comuni Italiani sulla Via Francigena, L'Associazione "Rotta dei Fenici". GEIE has the following objectives: experience and know-how exchange in the field of cultural tourism, implementing projects at local and cross-border level, development of specific projects at European level.
